Nick and I prefer different styles of wine so I thought it would be great to include his favourites as they may be yours too. Nick prefers more complex, medium bodied wines with layers of flavour which usually work best with food. Typically I prefer simpler, lighter wines which can happily be enjoyed on their own.

The Vitese is an organic, vegan, dry Sicilian white wine made from 100% Zibibbo grapes, no, I'd never heard of those grapes either! Characteristically these grapes have an intense aromatic aroma with hints of dried fruit and I would say that this bang on for this wine.
Colomba Bianca is the producer and they are a wine growing co-operative in the west of Sicily. They're actually one of the biggest producers of organic wine in Europe.
This medium bodied wine is the colour of pale yellow straw and perfumed with the aroma of orange blossom, dried fruit and herbal notes. When you taste it the floral orange blossom comes through along with dried fruit and a zesty zing; some people describe the zing as zesty citrus or lime, to me it tasted of gooseberry.
Nick really enjoyed this wine, particularly with food as he said this softened it which is often the case.
We bought this bottle from the lovely wine and craft beer shop Vinoramica in East London. Vinoramica do online orders and delivery in the local area and are also currently open for in shop purchases Fri & Sat afternoons and early evenings check their website for details and also some great tasting note videos from Matt:
