This is a brilliant buy for approx £12. This albarino comes from North West Spain in the Rias Baixas region, the Condo Do Tea area to be exact. This is a cool region with moist winds from the Atlantic and the albarino grapes love this climate. Albarino's are typically drunk young so not a wine to put away for years in a cupboard.

This is a bright, refreshing wine with aroma's of melon, stone fruit and honey. It has a high acidity which means that when you drink it there is a freshness/zing. I think it's great value and can be enjoyed on it's own or with food.

I'm lucky to have a great local wine shop "The Wine Factor" and bought my bottle there, but it's widely stocked and available online. santé!
